WHY AND WHEN DID YOU START BODYBUILDING?

I started lifting at the age of 16. I just liked that look and I remember asking an older guy in college who was in awesome shape how he got that way and he said he simply bought some weights and trained at home. I purchased weights that same day and fell in love with working out.

HOW DOES YOUR WORKOUT-PLAN LOOK LIKE?

The ground rule of my workout is “lift heavy weights”, that worked best for me both mentally and physically. I say mentally because nothing gives me the same buzz as moving a tremendous amount of weight. And physically because lifting heavy has been the most effective way for me to pack on size.

I have never bulked even once in all the years I’ve been training. I eat clean, stay lean and build mass gradually.

WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATION?

I receive so many emails from people who are inspired by me, this motivates me more than anything. I want to show them all what can be achieved through natural bodybuilding if you put in 110% and do it right.

However lifting weights is for me simply ‘fun and enjoyment’. So I don’t really need much of a motivation. I have always strived to be better, I love to see progress and I want to achieve the unimaginable.

And during my workout Music is the best motivation. Having the right tunes playing and finding beast mode is as easy as pressing play. My playlist consist of hardcore hip-hop with the likes of 2Pac, DMX, Mobb Deep, Papoose, Styles P and others.

WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 3 TIPPS YOU CAN GIVE EVERY GYMGOER?

Beeing consistant is the only way you can progress! Try not to be disheartened about slow gains, anything worth having takes time and requires patience.

Anyone struggling to stay consistent you simply don’t want it hard enough!

Structure your training! If you hit the gym with no direction you will end up nowhere, you need to understand what exactly will help you achieve your goal.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS AND WHAT ARE YOUR DREAMS?

Staying healthy and having a good life is obviously my final goal. For me being a bodybuilder does not just mean to train hard and to become big. It’s about a healthy lifestyle and the perfect symmetry. So I am working on my goals every day.

And also: Since I am a Musclemania athlete and I travel the world I want to help others to achieve their natural potential.
